You must be going down alleys because I don't live very far from you and I don't recognize any of your recent pix.

Hey Billy Boy - the red door is on Elm St W/111 - the side door of the alternator rebuilding place in the same building as Islip Animal Hospital.

The "lacey" wall from Saturday is behind some stores on Main St, south side of the street, I turned into the back parking lot of what used to be King Wok and is now vacant, and it was off the next parking lot.

What's interesting is that many of my photos are things *I* wouldn't have recognized either - before I started doing this. Now I'm really LOOKING. Before, I was just driving.

I love the photo - and I agree, this 365 day thing has made me LOOK at what's around me much more.

Very cool. There is a lot to see around here...

I guess they didn't hear back in girl or boy scout days that you're supposed to burn an old, faded, torn flag. They just put out a new one. :-) Great slice of life shot. Happy Labor Day, as a bumper sticker I've seen says "from the people who brought you The Weekend."
