After I left the service station, I did a quick drive around the block and found this lovely "peek" into someone's garden
And, loyal readers, while the tire fairies did not come in the night, this lovely gentleman did fill me back up with air this morning, and discovered a large bubble on the side of my tire - glad it didn't burst while driving (!). They're ordering me a new tire and I'll have it put on tomorrow.

I love that peek into the garden...it looks like the gateway to serenity encouraging one to step inside.
