Day 128

This from the side of a building in town...I don't know if it's truly an old sign - the top is a water pump...and the the wooden letters under the window, look like they end with "shop," but I don't know the first part of the word.

how funny?
I find it irksome when people put something up and don't bother to take it down. Like Christmas ornaments that linger throughout the year.

Anyhow it would be a nice looking house but for the illegible sign!

The place used to be called "The Pumphouse", the sign above the words was the logo ('pump'). The words below didn't say 'shop', but "The Pump House". Wish I knew what the font type was, but its an old building, the sign has to be 30-40 years old now. Owned by our former Supervisor Pete McGowan. I like that it hasnt been taken down, change is not always good!
