OK, you have me. What are those things? I prefer the perspective photo. For someone who has no idea what they are, it makes it more interesting to put them in context.

They're buoys. I think. You know, that float out in the water? Maybe these hold fishing nets? I just liked them en masse in that awful dayglo orange.
