I took a little geographic liberty with this shot - the house is actually in Bay Shore, though still in Islip School District...and it's just such a fabulous display, I couldn't let a little thing like town borders keep me from sharing it with y'all!

This is such a great shot. Is it hand-held? We have a huge neighborhood here that goes hog wild with decorations. Every house and yard just beautiful with lights.

Jill, yes, handhald. I actually had crisper versions with a faster shutter speed, but I think the lights actually look better slightly hazed/blurred with the longer shutter.
Crazy! We have a house nearby that looks similar. I'll have to pay a visit soon.

Very nice, though I'm glad I'm not a neighbour, I'd never get to sleep with all that light! It's a great shot though :)
