OMG - she looks exactly like our outside kitty Sweet Girl. She died a year ago next month. Maybe she just ran away to Islip.....

Cats don't come when you call them. Cats are gods.

Carole & Chewy: sorry about Sweet Girl :-( Maybe this was her angel :-)

Jacob: Yes, they *are* gods. But my cats come when I call them. They come when I don't call them. THEY WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE! But I love them :-)

Lily: She had a little friend up on the porch with her, too...

Such a sweetie gracing your photo. We have an all black male aged 9 1/2 years, and recently my daughter picked out a 6 month old black and white fella with a little motley face who is just a hoot. The older cat does come when called, never jumps up on the counters, wouldn't dream of getting near a sink or bath tub, and considers you his throne if you are prone or sitting. The youngster hasn't a clue what being called means, sleeps in the wet sink and climbs into the shower when the water is on, regularly seeks the crook of one's neck and sucks on an earlobe while purring contentedly, gets up on all counters and tables and breaks things, and steals pens and keys out of coat pockets and drags them all over the house! Cats are amazing, and each has there own perspective on catness, I guess.

PS, were you looking out through something or is that a bit of post processing? Nice, whichever! -K.

Bengbeng: I'm tryin! I miss a lot of days, but I keep climbing back up on the horse :-)

Julie: No kitties! I can hardly imagine. I went a little while with no dog when I was first divorced, and that was brutal...so I can imagine how no kitties would be :-(

Kim: isn't it fun how different they all are?! And yes, my post-processing skills are a bit newbie-ish, but I'm trying to practice a little every day and get better. It's one thing to know HOW to use image editing tools, now I'm trying to learn WHEN and WHAT :-)
