This from my archives....when my daughter was in elementary school she was always talking about "the historic deli," and I never really knew what she was talking about. I'd SEEN it, but had never really LOOKED at it til I stopped to take a picture...and now I see it is, indeed, "historic"!

So not only 'if I write it - makes it true' but 'if I put it on my sigh - THAT makes it true' ? :) I'm thinking of my new sign now - Kat's - the largest seller on eBay, LOL
yeah, I don't know what makes it "historic." When I try to look it up, the only mention of it I find (besides address sites) is in an article about Islip being the safest town in America in 2005. Who knew?
I love old buildings. this one looks attached to the house next to it.
Yes, it is attached, to what I can only assume was (is?) the Kleiber's house.
